Ready set takeoff !

So it's the night before the flight and of course I can't sleep! Too darn excited (and nervous). So might as well post some pics of Emily's room (a million thanks Uncle Mike and Auntie Sandra!), as well as my little "formula lab" that I had going in the kitchen to make up some formula packets for her bottles. It'll be easier while travelling to make a bottle up as we go and I'd rather do all this fiddling in my own kitchen instead of the hotel room! I cannot believe how much stuff we're taking for this trip, the plane might not make it off the ground... literally everything but the kitchen sink. I think I must have amalgamated about 4 different packing lists that I found online, so I'm prepared for anything!
Okay Chopper is giving me the "can we please go to sleep look" ... better try to get some shut eye!
See you in Hanoi...

  4. When I talked to you on the phone today you were so "buzzed" - I think maybe you were snorting some of the white stuff you were packaging last night !! Looks like you're well prepared for the weeks ahead though ! Let's hope you're not searched at customs....Have a fun trip and try to remember every minute of it. Love ya lots, Katie

  6. Great pics. The room is sweet, and your formula packing skills are impressive. Most of all, thank you both for sharing this experience with all of us. This is just one more example of why you're going to be such great parents. Your life will never be the same.
    Love you Both

I like the name you chose too. Emily is such a lucky little girl to have great parents like you two.

Take care, and looking forward to more blog pics and stories!
